Why Can't We Make Our Own Weather?

The weather is downright dreary today (winter rain), so I had to push this hoop right up to the window to take its picture. To cut down on the bad-photo quotient, I'm only sharing this springish snippet--more to come. It's terribly early, of course, but a Mother's Day image popped into my head and will hopefully materialize on this pale-blue linen before long. Wait for it.

This looks lovely! Have you thought about selling patterns for the embroidery? I like to embroider but need some creative help for designs.

I have thought of it Susan--I'm just not sure quite how to pull it off yet. Meanwhile, my friend Corinne offers some free patterns on her blog--at www.soseptember.blogspot.com--and sells some, too, at her etsy shop at www.septemberhouse.etsy.com. Her work is lovely!

Definitely a bright spot in our dreary weather - how much can it actually rain. Dumb question after last summer in Maine right?

Oh, good lord, CS--I think I have post-traumatic stress disorder after that summer of rain! I hate even thinking about it! ;-)
