Who, me? 37?

Yup--and it came with sunshine, pirate-themed putt-putt, a log-flume ride, french fries on the pier, vegan brownies and mint-chip ice cream. This is not to mention the company--handsome-gentleman husband, bright-faced and especially-cheerful daughter, beautiful sister bearing flowers, cuddly little dog. So. Much. Good.

Happy Birthday! You are a fantastic, beautiful ambassador for 37! OK, I'm only asking this because I'm curious and you are wise. Miss Melissa, would you describe yourself as "middle-aged?" Not like you play Bunco/wear mom jeans/drive a mini van to Costco middle aged (because you will NEVER be that) but is 37 the mid point? I'm just curious because I've been wondering this about myself.

Thanks, everyone!

Audra--I don't describe myself as middle aged, but I'm not sure what the "rule" is. I don't think that much about age, usually, though on birthdays it's hard to avoid the issue. ;-) How about if we plan to live till 90, at least, and we call 45 middle age?!

Happy Birthday to you!
I just turned 46 and I don't consider myself middle aged. Even though by your math it makes it so and probably is correct. I just don't feel middle aged.
How about 55 or so as middle age (if we were voting)?

I'm good with that, Cheryl. The heck with math! :-)

Really like your work.

Nice blog work. I came across your blog while “blog surfing” using the Next Blog button on the Nav Bar located at the top of my blogger.com site. I frequently just travel around looking for other blogs which exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people express themselves. Thanks for sharing.
