The Good News First? (a giveaway)

The good news is that I am apparently a "well-known" designer! The bad news is, they spelled my name wrong. The good news is I've used photo editing software to correct the problem here in my perfect-blog-dream-world! (I promise, though, it's really me.)
The really good news is it's a beautiful book, well-designed, full of lovely quilty projects, clear photos, and concise directions. The other really good news is I'd like to give a copy to one of you. Want it? Leave a comment, and I'll pick a winnah on Sunday at midnight.

Congrats on the book and sorry about the typo! They need to hire a new editor. ;)

I wanted to mention that I just moved to NC myself, a little over 6 months ago. I live in the Triangle area, which is a bit of a drive from Asheville, but would be happy to provide any info that's helpful! NC is a great place to live.

It looks like a great book! Thanks so much for the chance to win it!

I have a silent 'e' at the end of my last name, and it is constantly being left off by other people. Very frustrating!

Ohhhhhh, that SUCKS that they spelled your name wrong. I agree, we should all go into our local bookstores with Sharpie in hand and make the correction. CONGRATS!

One of the things on my "Bucket "List" is to go to Maine to have some wonderful fresh lobster. I think it's great that you traded the world of academic for the life you're living now. Your book looks inviting, and I can't wait to see everything you've designed. Keep your create juices flowing and good luck in all your endeavors, no matter where they may be.
