Why wait to wear purple when you're old? (portrait in progress)

Because I'm teaching only online, I can set my "weekend" so it works for me and for my students; right now, that's Monday and Tuesday. Those are the days when you'll find me here--
--at the dining room table, Christmas tunes on the laptop, getting my "make" fix.
Three lovely ladies in purple, soon to have eyes and noses and mouths--the work of the afternoon.

I'm glad you're able to schedule regular crafty time for yourself. I need to make more of an effort to do this. I'm so looking forward to finally opening the felt hoop creation I bought from you oh-so-many months ago. I bought it as a Christmas present for myself from The Mister (he needs help) and it has been sitting in a box in his closet since the day it came in the mail. I'm amazed by my own restraint.

I'm amazed, too, Audra! I love the idea of you opening it on Christmas morning!

I've never though of making portraits with felt. What a great idea!
