More Making Over

I whipped up a patchwork cover for my old gold chair--Sophie likes to scratch around on things before she lies down, some kind of hardwired nesting instinct, I guess, and it's hard on furniture.
If you've been around since the posts where I talked a bit about my minimalism, you'll recognize this old girl, and you won't be surprised that I made a cover instead of buying a new chair. It's making me very cheerful--and there are different squares on the other side...reversible!

Thanks! I think this might be my first patchwork project, aside from a tiny doll blanket I once made for Annabelle. It's so satisfying!

hello there, happy squares!

question is, of course, does SOPHIE approve? :-)

You know, maybe not--she's kind of leaving that chair alone, which is probably good!

That is so adorable! I wish I was handy with crafty stuff like that, but unfortunately I couldn't do a stitch do save my life. haha :) Good job. :)

golden--I think anybody could do this! Seriously--it's all straight stitches on the sewing machine. No big whoop!
